Book Club Guide: Code Name Verity
Discussion Questions and Decor for a WWII Setting
World War II Book Club Decoration
Recruitment/Propoganda Posters: You can’t hardly think about wartime without thinking about Uncle Sam and all the other WWII poster that were floating about
Candles: You’re rarely going to see a table that we set be without candles. They just set the coziest most romantic mood.
Vintage Scrapbook Pages: Instead of using a tablecloth, use these vintage scrapbook pages for book club decor. These can easily be used for other book clubs as well.
Tea cups: Honestly what is a historical fiction book club without tea? These white cups go with everything and we whip them out every time we have tea.
Discussion Question Cards: Full Book Club Discussion Questions can be found below, but make it easy on yourself and just download these cutie cards we already designed.
Book Club Food and Drinks: For Code Name Verity we made little cucumber sandwiches, bread pudding, scones and stew. For our cocktail this week we had sidecars. All very on theme with the setting of the book.
Our storefront has everything you need to host a war-time era book club. See our vlog for a closer look and what everyone thought of the story.
